You Can Manage Your Pregnancy & Your Epilepsy

With the right planning and care, you can safely and effectively manage your pregnancy and your epilepsy. When you’re on the right anti-seizure medication (ASM) and taking the correct dosage (dosage may increase during your pregnancy), you are no more likely to have an increase of seizures during pregnancy than you were before pregnancy. This finding comes from the Maternal Outcomes and Neurodevelopmental Effects of Antiepileptic Drugs study (MONEAD).
